Just like how the Rachel Green hair cut made waves a decade ago, the smokey eye makeup has emerged as one of the most popular looks for those in the showbiz – and those who’re not but aspire to emulate the style of their favorite celebrities.  Smokey eye makeup is a night time makeup, and it goes perfectly with the shiny and sometimes loud outfits that are synonymous with parties. Quite obviously, the makeup isn’t just mindless fashion – it really does add a whole different dimension to your looks and style. Colors

The importance of colors in creating the smokey eye effect cannot be overstated. It is the cornerstone of the beauty of this makeup. Despite the fact that you may have quite a number of colors at your disposal, you still need to ensure the following:

• Choose two colors, one dark color which will be the feature color, and another lighter color which will be the supporting color. This choice will be dependent on factors such as the color of your eyes, hair as well as your skin tone.
• If for instance you have blue eyes, colors like black, grey, dark blue, purple or violet will do nicely as feature colors for your eye shadow.
